These two shots are from the north side of St. Patrick's
Cathedral at about 8:30 this morning.
The line on the south side was far longer, almost all the way back to Madison.
When I told a few people on the longer line that they should go to the other side, none of them moved. There's no way a New Yorker would be trusting enough to risk losing a place on line by listening to the advice of a stranger.
