Charles Krauthamer is not a stupid man. Thus when he writes what is factually incorrect, one can only conclude he is intentionally aiming to mislead.
In his anti-mosque piece of today, "Sacrilege at Ground Zero," he praised the expulsion of the Carmelite nuns from their convent inside Auschwitz as an example of the respect for "hallowed ground" that must be shown at Ground Zero. But in fact the nuns were merely moved directly across the road from Auschwitz. Their current convent is in fact closer to Auschwitz than the proposed Islamic Center is to Ground Zero.
Continuing with his distortion of a theme, Krathammer writes that: "no German of goodwill would even think of proposing a German cultural center at, say, Treblinka." But in fact the U.S. Department of Defense did not hesitate to build the "Dachau American Elementary School" at a fairly well known concentration camp. And as Wikipedia notes: "the former SS barracks adjacent to the camp are now occupied by the Bavarian Bereitschaftspolizei (rapid response police unit)".
There is no sacrilege proposed for Ground Zero: the real sacrilege is what Krauthammer does to the truth.

While it can be clunky Office 2010 at first, especially if you're used to an older version, I find it much easier to get serious Microsoft Office 2010 formatting and editing changes done in this version.
