« His Tenure's not Tenuous | Main | Ronald Obama »

I'm getting worried about how often I agree with you. But this week I am for Obama again (at least he's pulled back even with Hillary in my internal horse race) so I will give him a pass on this one as the sort of politically fluffy statement one makes (positive toward Reagan) to reach that great wavering middle who used to love Ron. Surely the Clintons have done many of the same moves.

Of much greater concern is, as Paul Krugman points out, that Obama the progressive has put forth both a health plan and an anti-recession plan that are more timid and incremental and less progressive than the supposedly centrist Hillary. I am coming to like her grasp of policy. If only I could trust her not to sell it out when in office.

Once again we're on the same page - it is scary.

I would suggest an in-person lubricated meeting to see if, as discourse and liquor flows, such agreement is sustainable. Maybe the relative merits of political candidates is too easy a topic, and your true acumen as an analyst of the state of the world would be better tested on more obscure, nuanced topics, like the relative aesthetic merits of various state license plate designs.

Live free or die.

There are only two kinds of people who are really fascinating; people who know absolutely everything, and people who know absolutely nothing.

Very descriptive article, I enjoyed that a lot. Will
there be a part 2?
