Over at The Corner Mark Krikorian asks for help. Serious, Psychiatric Intervention. Probablly too psychotic to directly cry out for help, Krikorian made his plea by implying that the War in Iraq is actually a War for Oil.
His colleagues there, guys like Jonah Goldberg, Jay Nordlinger and Victor Dave Hanson have made it quite clear that only the deranged could call our humanitarian efforts in Iraq a war for oil.
In writing about Burma today, Krikorian asks "What possible American interest is there?" He answers that "Burma's irrelevant to the world economy, exports no oil..." In conclusion he asks the defining neo-con question: "What's in it for us?"
What was in it for us in Iraq? Krikorian clearly needs a tune up.
