The Last Hurrah

Today's New York Times Headlines an article on today's election -"A Last Hurrah of Sorts for Bush-Rover Partnership."

Please remember that in that great book,The Last Hurrah, the candidate running for re-election, former Governor Frank Skeffington, with all his brilliant campagin advisors at his side, loses his last race -  and loses big, wondrously big.
