A Bustard is Born

It was a mere 70 million years ago that our family separated from the our equally attractive relatives, the crane family.  I know the intelligent design crowd would say that this is impossible since the world is not nearly that old.  Trust me - it has taken me longer to get this blog up and running than the amount of time they say that the earth has existed.
