Cheney, Now as Rodney King

I am sure that the real reason that the White House kept Cheney's visit to Iraq a secret was because of security concerns.

It couldn't be because they are sick and tired of being de facto writers for Jon Stewart and Bill Maher?

Dick Cheney is flying half way around the world to host a dinner. He intends to instruct his guests about the "hard wprk of political reconciliation."   Cheney wants to help different groups in Parliament "develop greater political cohesion."

And that's not all. George W. Bush's Vice President is also going to tell the legislators that they have to take shorter vacations. Two months this summer is just way over the top, and Bush's minions have been telling that to the Iraqis repeatedly. They have to work harder. As Ambassador Crocker put it

for the Iraqi parliament to take a two-month vacation in the middle of summer is impossible to understand"

As of April 7, Bush had spent 409 days in Crawford ,TX. This does not count Camp David, nor Kennebunkport - only Crawford.
