In my last post I wrote about the refusal of many on the right to give recognition to U.S. soldiers who have lost their lives fighting in Iraq.
I noted how few wing-nut blogs are ever linked at memeorandum to articles covering the War Dead.
So instead of mourning the 8 or 9 U.S soldiers who died in the last day in Iraq what are they covering?
The Corner has had 20 posts thus far today - ranging from K-Lo declaring the Emmy's as Yucky to Derbyshire's interest in the weight of Morena. Not a word about dying soldiers. The Paste-eater at Protein Wisdom has mocked Reuters for supposedly exaggerating Israeli violence in Gaza. Pajamas Media has 29 posts up as I write this. Although a Drudge interview with Pat Buchanan, and a piece declaring that "Anderson Coopers is CNN's Cesspool Superman" were covered, the deaths of U.S. servicemen did not make the cut. Michelle Malkin was too upset about immigration, and a demonstration that resulted in a Mexican flag being flown over a post office, to waste time on any dead soldiers.
